Anne Shuff, DVM
Practice Owner
I received my DVM, with honors, from Michigan State University in 1991. I have owned the North M-18 Veterinary Clinic since 2002 and have owned the East River Veterinary Clinic since 2017. I have been on the Board of Directors for the MVMA since 2014 and am Vice President for the NEMVMA.
I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially ophthalmology and internal medicine. I believe in a healthy life-work balance and offering quality veterinary care based on the best current standards of practice. As a practice owner, I encourage my staff to be compassionate and work cooperatively with clients and their pets. I strive to build trusting relationships with clients that begin at puppy/kitten stage and progress through their pet's geriatric years.
My husband, Aaron, and I have four children, one dog and two cats. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, exercise, and travelling with my family. I am a die-hard Michigan State Fan. Most Saturdays in the fall you can find me at Spartan Stadium!

I graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and joined East River Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2019. I enjoy soft tissue surgery, as well as working towards creating a feline friendly practice. I recently married a spectacular walleye fisherman and we live together with our miniature pinscher named Kizzy. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading and bird watching.
