East River Veterinary Clinic- Our Doctors

Anne Shuff, DVM

Practice Owner

I received my DVM, with honors, from Michigan State University in 1991. I have owned the North M-18 Veterinary Clinic since 2002 and have owned the East River Veterinary Clinic since 2017. I have been on the Board of Directors for the MVMA since 2014 and am Vice President for the NEMVMA.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially ophthalmology and internal medicine. I believe in a healthy life-work balance and offering quality veterinary care based on the best current standards of practice. As a practice owner, I encourage my staff to be compassionate and work cooperatively with clients and their pets. I strive to build trusting relationships with clients that begin at puppy/kitten stage and progress through their pet's geriatric years.

My husband, Aaron, and I have four children, one dog and two cats.  In my spare time I enjoy gardening, exercise, and travelling with my family. I am die-hard Michigan State Fan. Most Saturdays in the fall you can find me at Spartan Stadium!

Katie Zubricky, MS, DVM

I am originally from Colorado and grew up in the mountains near Boulder. I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO for my bachelor’s, master’s and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees.

I have a special interest in soft tissue surgery, oral health treatments, internal medicine, and client education. I love contributing to the special human-animal bond by providing quality care to my patients. I am also a Fear Free Certified Veterinarian meaning I try to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with visits to the veterinary office, making the entire experience better for your beloved four-legged friends.

I currently live in Rosebush with my fiancé, Mike (a Michigan native!). We love and adore our two Labrador Retrievers, Bill and Ted, and one hairless kitty, Owl!

I am a huge fan of labs, but loves dogs (and cats), of all shapes and sizes!

In my free time, I enjoy exploring all that Michigan has to offer, spending time with my dogs, reading, and crafting.
